Compatibility Mode |

|
If you are running the Home Premium version or higher of
Windows Vista or Windows 7, you may follow the steps below
to enable your driver’s and/or software to run in
compatibility mode with Windows XP Service Pack 2.
(Note: Unfortunately, this feature will not work correctly
with the Basic versions of Windows Vista or Windows 7) |

Follow these steps to
install your device |
|
1.
First
make sure to completely uninstall any current drivers and/or
software that you have previously tried to install and also
to disconnect your camera from your computer. |

2.
Next, insert the CD or download the driver from our Driver
Download section. Then, when given the choice, choose to
explore it. |
|
|
|
|
3.
Find the Setup.exe file,
then right click on the Setup.exe icon and choose
Properties.
|
|
|
|
|
4.
Choose the
Compatibility tab and change the compatibility mode to
Windows XP Service Pack 2. |
|
|
|
|
5.
Then click ok and run the setup. |

Follow these steps to use the web cam feature |
|
If your camera is not an HD model and has a web cam feature,
please do the following to complete the installation of this
feature: Before connecting the camera, you will always need
to turn the camera on. You will then press the mode button,
select Settings and then scroll down to USB mode and select
Camera. Then plug the unit in. Allow the system to auto
detect the cam and when finished you can access the desktop
shortcut to view the live view for basic functionality. It
will require the use of a messenger service like yahoo for
the use of the internet web cam feature. |
